Welcome to  Dossani Paradise Burger King . We are a Family oriented, well-established organization seeking an experienced  Assistant General Manager  to join our rapidly growing Team!

The  Fast Food   Assistant General Manager  will provide a wide range of duties to provide exceptional service and support to guests and staff. The AGM ensures effective and productive Team Member contributions and supports the General Manager in leading the store and ensuring operational excellence.

Open to working a variety of shifts, averaging 40+ hours per week.

Primary Duties:

  • Assist the General Manager with all store operations, including sales management, inventory control, merchandising, and cash handling.
  • Establish and implement short and long-range objectives for the assigned areas.
  • Manage scheduling and shift management to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours and special promotions.
  • Assist the General Manager as needed with employee actions such as recruiting, hiring and discipline in accordance with company policies.
  • Implement effective inventory management practices to prevent stock shortages or overstock situations.
  • Monitor store performance, identifying and facilitating opportunities to increase sales, productivity and efficiency.
  • Utilize POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and customer inquiries while maintaining exemplary phone etiquette and customer service standards.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and motivate staff toward continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other managers to coordinate programs and projects.
  • Monitor store cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols to create an inviting shopping environment.
  • Handle customer complaints promptly with professionalism, exemplifying exceptional customer service.
  • Assist with marketing campaigns and merchandise displays that attract customers.
  • Ensure compliance with food, health & safety regulations, cash handling and security procedures.

Experience:

  • Management experience in a fast food or similar restaurant environment with prior knowledge of Scheduling, Labor Control, Cost of Goods Sold and Inventory Management preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills and leadership qualities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employee relations, inventory management, and food preparation.
  • Strong background in restaurant management including POS systems proficiency.
  • Prior experience supervising staff across shifts.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. May consider prior Management experience in lieu.
  • Previous restaurant management experience required. Assistant General Manager experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management abilities.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, subject to a background check.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire teams towards shared success.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities highly desirable.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Honest, Trustworthy, Respectful and Loyal.
  • Able to lift 25 pounds and traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.
  • Prolonged periods of standing required.
